High school is a great opportunity for those seeking to do well in college to start developing themselves and establishing a strong foundation for the future. It will not hurt to work a little harder than your peers because ultimately, as I have learned from experience, it is you and you alone that benefit from all the effort you have put in. It is easy to feel like a lot of what you do in high school is a waste of time or energy. When you do encounter these thoughts, remember that high school is not the end; remember that high school does count when it comes – it is a stepping stone to ensuring success in university.

According to a study conducted by INSEAD’s William D. Maddux in collaboration with Adam D. Galinsky from Northwestern University, there is sufficient scientific evidence to support the idea that studying abroad does indeed increase an individual’s level of creativity.

Union University officially opens the newly completed Bowld Student Commons with a grand opening celebration. Bowld Commons is a 30,000 square foot (2,800 square meter) facility with apartments for two residence directors, a large multi-purpose room, three classrooms, two kitchens, game room, conference rooms, piano room, band practice room, TV rooms and gathering areas, outdoor built-in grills and outdoor patio space on both the first and second floors.
Bowld Student Commons is a great example of the commitment ELI 360 partner universities have made to provide students with modern facilities that enhance learning, as well as the student-life experience.
