The CORE program at SAU is part of the rich education philosophy and curriculum of every major and part of the high standards set for academics at Spring Arbor. It prepares you for the rest of life. At SAU you will develop as a whole person and fine-tune your leadership skills. As an example, in the sophomore level CORE curriculum you’ll tackle a course that facilitates heavy conversation about the moral, philosophical and social issues that have affected the world in recent years. Diversity, whether racial, economic or cultural, is a topic you’ll explore first-hand on a trip to Chicago. In this course you’ll reflect on what it means to be a critical participant in today’s world.
