Valparaiso is recognized by Princeton Review in the “Best 296 Business School” of the U.S. Nationally, 640 schools received this regional ranking, which is only accorded to about 25% of the nation’s colleges and universities.

Templeton Honor Roll – Character-Building Colleges

In 1989, the John Templeton Foundation established the Honor Roll for Character-Building Colleges to recognize those institutions that emphasize character development as an integral aspect of the undergraduate experience. To date, more than 350 colleges and universities have been named to one or more Honor Rolls.

The Templeton Honor Roll has been received by Dallas Baptist and Valparaiso 2 out of 100 universities to receive this prestigious award. Other universities known around the world are Baylor, Dartmouth, Emory, Princeton and Yale.

AACSB International Accreditation

Abilene Christian’s, Pacific Lutheran’s and Valparaiso’s College of Business Administration are accredited by AACSB International, the highest accreditation body for schools of business.

  • Of the institutions in the world offering business degrees, only 450 have AACSB accreditation. This represents one-third of the programs in the United States and only 15% of the world’s business programs.
  • Additionally, of 41 private schools of business in the state of Texas, ACU is one of only eight achieving this accreditation.
  • Additionally, of 18 private schools of business in the state of Washington, Pacific Lutheran is one of two achieving this accreditation.
  • Additionally, of 23 private schools of business in the state of Indiana, Valparaiso is one of two achieving this accreditation.

Why is this accreditation important?

AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review. AACSB International accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in management education.

U. Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) and Lipscomb’s College of Business are both members in good standing with the AACSB International.

These are just a few of the indicators of why ELI 360 partner universities are part of a best in class group for undergraduate study.
