“Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.” – Albert Einstein (Inventor, Physicists, and Philosopher)
“Integrity is the essence of everything successful.”- R. Buckminster Fuller (Architect, Author, Inventor, and Futurist)
The integrity of an individual refers to one’s incorruptibility. It is the inclination to always do what it right, even when no one is observing. Integrity encompasses the actions as well as the motives of a person. As such, ELI 360 believes that it is important for individuals to develop integrity. Along with our partner universities,
ELI 360 seeks for its students to have a sense of moral and ethical uprightness. We believe that society will only benefit and make progress if its leaders of tomorrow understand the essential quality of integrity as a foundation and essence of all success.
Integrity is not the face of a person, the look or style. Rather, it is the foundation and strength of his or her frame. Character and leadership is built upon the strength of integrity. As with an American television advertisement for Capital One credit card, “What’s in your wallet?” we ask “what is the strength of your character?”
