Fall 2012 Roadshows – Highlights

Highlights and latest developments from our Fall Trips to Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, South Korea and Brazil.

September Trips Timeline

  • Steven conducted several Admission 360 and ELI 360 Guidance (E3G) presentations in Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, and Penang. He worked closely with ELI 360 representatives Ong Jin Choo, Lawrence Chia, and Ooi Chee Khoon, during his time in Malaysia.
  • Steven also met with several families whose children are currently enrolled at ELI 360 universities. Some of these families shared their testimonies about how their children have matured and developed since they began studying in the U.S., and how ELI 360 was instrumental in helping them identify and apply to the universities in which their children are now studying.

  • Steven worked with ELI 360’s UAE Representative, Ms. Roseline Charles, to conduct Admission 360 and ELI 360 Guidance presentations to several high schools, as well as the Indian Association of Sharjah.
  • He also met with the family of Marc Gojer while in UAE. Marc is a freshman studying biology and forensic science at Hardin-Simmons University (HSU).

  • Ted and Ellen worked closely with ELI 360’s new representative in Korea, Mr. Kwangwon Shin. Shin is an Abilene Christian University (ACU) Alumnus. Ted and Ellen also met Kwangwon’s parents who are both life-long educators in Korea.
  • Ted and Ellen met up with administrators from Fort Worth Christian School. Both parties were present at Shema Christian School, in Seoul, to establish a partnerships between the two high schools.

  • ELI 360 is moving forward with plans to establish an office in Brazil. The new office will be led by our representative Carlos Castilho and his wife Elaine.
  • Erik, along with Carlos, met with the Secretary of Education of Sao Paulo, as well as several large high schools who are interested in the career development aspect of ELI 360 Guidance (E3G).
